Mission

The Mission of The Centers for Equality is to secure, protect and support the rights and wellbeing of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender South Dakotans and their families.

Goals

Create safety for LGBT South Dakotans.

Educate the larger community about the needs and issues of the LGBT community.

Provide resources to the LGBT community that promote health and wellbeing.

Make the LGBT community visible.

Protect the effectiveness and future of our statewide LGBT organization by striving for excellence in all we do by increasing participation, refining our mission and maintaining a high-quality financial and administrative base.
